Working with the right realtor is so important, and your choice needs to be based on more than just sales record and experience. Whenever I meet with a new potential client, I always encourage them to sign with the agent that they’d be comfortable enough to pick up the phone and call about anything without feeling like a burden. With that in mind, let me tell you a little about myself.

I grew up in Sydney, Cape Breton in a house my parents built and have lived in their entire marriage. The second oldest of five children, I learned early the value of money and how to get along with people. Originally I thought finance would be my career but after starting my first sales role, I was hooked. I knew I wanted to be my own boss and create an environment that enabled me to balance my personal life and career.

At 35, I passed my exam and became a licensed realtor with RE/MAX nova, the warm and supportive agency I’ve been with ever since. 

 

Now years later, I have my two amazing kids, I travel, run, golf and play hockey, and I love my life. And at heart I will always be a strong, independent Cape Breton woman who has found her way to balance family, life and a rocking career. (Read Blog: The Story Of How I Became A Realtor.)

COMMUNITY

Giving back

In memory of a childhood friend lost to leukemia, I am driven to give back and support those facing blood cancers. Grateful for my health and blessings, I feel it's essential to contribute to causes that aid others less fortunate.

 

I am participating in a national fundraising competition to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, a charity that not only supported my friend but continues to assist many others with crucial research and patient services. While the title "Woman of the Year" is an honor, my true goal is to rally support and raise significant funds for this vital cause.
